Warmest places to go in November – six hot destinations

With the sun barely making an appearance, things can turn quite chilly in November.

But there are still places around the world that offer plenty of heat.

Most of Europe will be heading into winter, so you may want to consider long-haul destinations.

However, we have included two locations in Europe that remain fairly warm.

Here’s our list of warm places for some November sun.

Seville

The Spanish city is located in southern Spain’s Andalusia region and boasts 3000 hours of sunshine per year.

Unlike other European cities, the warm temperatures continue in Seville well into the winter.

In November, visitors can expect highs of 20C, with the average temperature being 15C.

Compare this to London, where temperatures reach a maximum of 12C.

Things to do: Plaza de España, Royal Alcázar of Seville, Parque de María Luisa.

Palm Springs

If the theme parks of Orlando don’t take your fancy, but you still want a US break, you should consider Palm Springs.

The desert resort city in California is known for its luxury accommodation and for being the home of Coachella music festival.

Holidaymakers can expect weather warm enough for a game of golf or a swim in the pool.

Highs of 26C are common, but on average the temperature is around 17-18C.

Things to do: Palm Canyon Drive, Coachella Valley Preserve, Indian Canyons.

Goa

A paradise in India, Goa is known for its beautiful beaches and colonial Portuguese architecture.

There are 66 miles of coastline, so there’s no shortage of natural landscapes.

Those heading to South Goa can enjoy a relaxing beach break, but if you want a bit more action, North Goa has plenty of nightclubs and restaurants.

Things to do: Dudhsagar Falls, Mahadeva Temple, Anjuna Beach.

Fuerteventura

One of the quieter Canary Islands, Fuerteventura is primarily all about the beach.

There are big resort towns on the island packed full of tapas bars and international restaurants.

Like all the Canary Islands, there is always a breeze in Fuerteventura, making it an island perfect for watersports.

If you’re not looking to travel too far away from home, but want guaranteed good weather Fuerteventura may be for you.

Things to do: Parque Natural de Corralejo, Caletta De Fuste Beach, Isla de Lobos.

Cape Verde

An African island country in the central Atlantic ocean boasts a warm climate all year round.

The two most popular islands for tourists are Sal and Boa Vista, with both offering miles and miles of coastline.

Temperatures in Cape Verde in November are around 24C.

Cape Verde package holidays are also good value for money – making it ideal for those wanting some winter sun on a budget.

Flight time from the UK is around six hours.

Things to do: Quad biking, relaxing and visiting the Project Biodiversity Turtle Conservation Hatchery.

Vietnam

November is a great month for those looking to travel around Vietnam.

The country offers tourists a melting-pot history along with beaches and lively cities.

In the north, it’s fairly dry and cool; central areas such as Hoi An can see rain, whilst the south is all blue skies and wall-to-wall sunshine.

Temperatures in Ho Chi Minh City are around 27C, Hoi An is 24C and Hanoi is 18C.

Things to do: War Remnants Museum, Cu Chi Tunnel, Cát Bà Island.
