Ingleton Waterfalls trail – walk, price and how to get there

It may rain more up north, but with rain comes beautiful waterfalls.

And one of the most picturesque waterfalls in the UK is Ingleton Waterfalls.

Situated in the village of Ingleton in North Yorkshire, the walk contains several falls as you follow two rivers.

The trail is set in well-managed woodlands with a small cafe on site.

Most visitors visit the trail to see the Thornton Force fall, which stands at 46-feet and has a vast pool below.

On hot days, you will see people swimming in the pool or walking behind the fall.

Walk

The trail is just over four miles long and runs in a circular route.

Ideally, you need around three hours to fully appreciate the walk, but the trail can be done in two.

Price

Ingleton Waterfalls Trail is privately managed, therefore you must pay to enter.

Admission prices are £7 per adult and £3 for children (under 16).
